Whether under the stairs, behind a screen or in the pool floor: There are numerous options for integrating the roller shutter in the pool so that it is hardly noticeable. That is why retractor systems installed beneath the water line (recessed) are the most popular version. This is made possible by underwater motors, which are integrated in the winding shaft of the retractor system. The design offers several benefits: It eliminates the need for an additional dry shaft, saving both space and installation work.

Ideally, recessed systems should be planned during construction of the pool. But they are also suitable for retrofitting of existing pools.
