Compact and watertight

WaterBeck tubular motors

MecaTec turbular motors from BINDER are the optimal drive for your recessed system: The compact design of the motor allows mounting together with the retractor system in an inconspicuous roller shutter shaft underneath the water line. An extra dry shaft is not needed. We deliver MecaTec tubular motors in six versions with torques from 150 to 1,000 Nm.

Completely watertight

Tubular motors from BINDER are filled with nitrogen, which makes them absolutely watertight (protection type 68). The drives are integrated in a robust stainless steel housing and fulfill the stringent requirements for use in swimming pools (1.4301 in accordance with DIN EN 10088-2).

Suitable for use in all pools

Our tubular motors are suitable for all standard pool types: concrete, aluminum, fiber-reinforce plastic, stainless steel or styrofoam.

Top-mounted versions

The stainless steel tubular motors are also available for top-mounted installation (with a torque of 120 Nm or 150 Nm).

Extremely quiet

Pool covers with a tubular motor drive are very quiet. You hardly notice that the pool cover is opening or closing.
